After the unexpected death of Hildegard Glös, Martina Wolter-Kampmann finished the incomplete book. The Chrysanthemum lace book text is in Germany, but there are clear working diagrams. The publication begins with a detailed introduction to the technique of the popular Chrysanthemum lace. Then follow 26 patterns for you to work. They are for smaller motifs like butterflies, hearts, droplets or numbers for anniversary greetings, also a mat 26 cm in diameter.  During her many years of work with Chrysanthemum lace, Hildegard Glös also found a method of giving the lace a three-dimensional structure by looping the tape in such a way that it rises above the rest of the lace surface. The book includes two of these special models which are more suitable for advanced lace makers.  A good book for beginner’s to Chrysanthemum Lace but also for the more experienced Lace maker.
